Shiba Attitude

It is time to write a cute happy post to brighten your and my life. Yesterday morning, I went on an early long walk with Princess on a bike path. It was supposed to be my 1st time meeting up with a running meet up group. But nobody showed up except Princess and I. So we went on a long walk by ourselves.

The weather was cool with a mild breeze, it was perfect. We walked by the OSU animal labs and greeted the lamas in the farms. The wild flowers were blooming, the sun was shining, it was one of those picture perfect moment. All was well until Princess decided to pounce on a little creature. (I suspect it was a snake or a mice.) Well, she didn't get anything. And she was upset and decided to pull out her Shiba attitude card.

She decided to sit and not walk. It is hard for others to understand but Shiba are very strong willed and they can be very stubborn. So I pulled and yanked and pulled and yanked to little avail. I ended up carrying her the rest of the way in my arm.

I posted the below pic on a Shiba Facebook group and everyone could relate. It already accrued more than 140 likes. What a surprise.
