Boarding Princess at a Kennel

It has been a long while since my last post. Things has been quite busy but good kind of busy. Hubby and I went on a road trip to California this past weekend mainly to see R. played in a play. It was a very fun road trip. We didn't do a whole lot (according to our standard) but we did get to see everything.

I found a boarding facility here in Corvallis that I was very happy with before leaving for my vacation. Princess was boarded there with her own little kennel and private dog run. It was just the perfect set up for her and her special needs. The kennel was referred to me by a friend and it was no where to be found on Yelp. So I suggested the owner to set up the business on Yelp.

Well, he thought it was a great idea and I could tell he wasn't sure how to do it. So I promised to set it up for him when we came back from vacation.

After our trip, we dropped by to pick up Princess, took some photos of the facility and got on the computer to set up the business on Yelp for him. It turned out the business was somewhat set up on Yelp but it wasn't showing up on searches. So I helped him claim the business as the business owner and Ryan wrote a review. Then I explained to him how Yelp can help his business and what he could do with it.

I really just thought he should at least be on Yelp for having a facility that provides a different alternative to other kennels.

After everything was done, we walked back to the car, and the owner got tears in his eyes because he was so touched by us being so kind. It was such a minor thing that I did. He even gave us back our money for boarding Princess. I could not believe it.

It just reminds me opportunities to help is everywhere and I don't need to be a wonder woman to have positive impact on other people's lives.

Hopefully, now people can find his facilities showing up on Yelp.
