This is an update from my previous post. Since the vet told me my dog needed double knee surgeries. I was ready to jump on a plane with her and get her fixed up. But before jumping on the plane, I did my due diligence and took her in for...a second...and...a third opinion (just to be thorough); one vet in Philly and another vet in Baltimore.
Long and behold (low and behold, pardon my Chingish!), this new vet across the street from my dog park might have lied to me about her needs for surgeries. After x-rays and examinations, the 2nd and 3rd vets reiterated to me that NO SURGERY was necessary and that both of her knees are in place. I felt like dancing in the vet offices both times. What a relief!
Even though we still can't pin point exactly what is bothering her without doing a scope on her knee but at least I found some honest vets that told me honest truths.
I will never walk into this new vet's office in my neighborhood again. He is there to care for his WALLET!
I am so happy for you!!! And this isn't a criticism, but the idiom is "low and behold" not "long and behold." Love your guts!
